Ready to Quit Smoking? Giving Up Smoking Just Got a Lot Easier

Are you ready to quit smoking? Giving up smoking has historically been very challenging for most smokers. But recently new smoking cessation techniques have been developed that give smokers a much better chance of breaking the habit. One technique, in particular, has made quitting very easy.

Until recently smoking cessation methods have focused on the physical addiction to nicotine. From nicotine replacement therapies (like the patch or nicotine gum) to stop smoking medications (like Chantix or Zyban) these methods attempt to help the smoker break their nicotine addiction.

But recent studies have shown that it is not the physical addiction to nicotine that makes it difficult to quit smoking, rather the mental cravings to smoke are what cause most smokers to fail at quitting smoking.

The addiction to nicotine passes with a week or so after quitting smoking as the nicotine passes from the smoker’s body. But smoking dominates the mind of a smoker and continues to do so long after they have stopped smoking. The actual habit of smoking has become engrained in a smokers mind so much that they can fall back into the smoking habit years after they have originally quit.

Smoking cessation experts have taken advantage of this new knowledge and have begun to use existing psychological therapies to help remove the mental cravings to smoke.

One such technique that is being used to help people stop smoking is NLP, or Neuro Linguistic Programming. NLP is like super-charged hypnotherapy. It targets the subconscious mind and removes the deep-seated cravings to smoke. In essence, it re-programs the part of your mind that clings to the desire to smoke and helps to let it go.

Because NLP focuses on removing the mental cravings to smoke it boasts a very high success rate for those trying to stop smoking. Giving up smoking is easy with NLP. You do not have to visit a therapist or professional to stop smoking with NLP. You can break the smoking habit just by listening to an NLP recording.
